The Scientific Foundation of Structural Safety
Before designing foundations, engineers must know what lies beneath the ground surface. Bangladesh has highly diverse subsoil strata ranging from soft alluvial clay and loose silt in river basins to dense sand in high-elevation zones. Constructing without an accurate soil test invites differential settlement, wall cracking, or catastrophic foundation tilting.
Innoventra's geotechnical exploration division mobilizes rotary and wash-boring rigs directly to your site across Dhaka, Chattogram, Sylhet, and all 64 districts. We conduct Standard Penetration Tests (SPT) at 1.5-meter intervals, extract undisturbed clay samples, and perform full laboratory testing to formulate definitive foundation guidelines.
Soil Testing Report Contents & Lab Parameters
Drilling 2 to 5 boreholes to depths of 50ft to 120ft with continuous SPT N-value recording every 1.5 meters.
Grain size analysis (sieve & hydrometer), Atterberg limits (liquid & plastic limit), direct shear, and unconfined compression.
Mathematical calculation of allowable soil pressure (Tons/sqft or kPa) for shallow isolated, combined, and mat footings.
End bearing and skin friction capacity tables for cast-in-situ bored concrete piles (16", 20", 24" diameters).
Water table observation, salinity, sulfate, and chloride content assessment to protect underground reinforcement.
Official engineering stamp and sign-off accepted by RAJUK, CDA, KDA, RDA, and national commercial banks.
